About Mahala

Mahala began her hair journey after graduating high school at 16 years old. Art and music, her forever passions, didn’t seem like stable career choices so she looked into similar fields. In 2019, Mahala fell in love with hair and never looked back. Completing both cosmetology school on Guam and an apprenticeship in Virginia gave her diversity and exposed her to many methods of accomplishing the same result. Mahala loves special event styling, vivid hair colors, tinsel, and long hair maintenance haircuts. She also enjoys men’s cuts, kids cuts, perms, and lived-in colors.
